A Note From Cecil's W5CQG Desk!
For the month of September our 'club meeting' will be held on the 9th. However I will not be able to attend as I will be in Arkansas for the MENA HAMFEST up there. If you've never been to that one, you outta go at some point in your life. I assure you it will be the best one you will ever attend.
There are a couple of things we really need to look at for some up-and-coming events we might want to participate in. For one, we are planning to help out at the Halloween Festivities at Rebel State Park in October. I was also asked if we might want to put up a 'booth' at the MILAM SETTLER'S DAY weekend here (in Milam) in November. We would get great attention at BOTH of these.
That's just a few things to think about. One other thing .. Our October meeting night might conflict with the Rebel Park thing .. (I don't remember the dates). I believe Susan has the dates for Rebel Park.
