May Meeting Minutes 2011
The meeting was brought to order by President Dave-N0TRQ @ 7:06pm.
Our Prayer & Pledge was led by Cecil-W5CQG.
Secretarys Report: Dave-N0TRQ read the Secretary''s report in Susan''s-N0TRS absence. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Cecil-W5CQG, and seconded by Don-K5ZRQ .
Treasurers Report: The Treasurer''s report was read by Cecil-W5CQG. We currently have $1200.16 in the account. A motion was made by Don-K5ZRQ to accept the Treasurer''s Report as read. It was seconded by Larry-KE5UVT.
Old Business:
VHF South Barbeque: Marshall-K5QE extended an invitation to the VHF Barbeque to be held On May 28, 2011. It will be held 8.2 miles N. of Milam at Bill Simpson’s- N5YA house.
New Business:
Ham Fest: Final arrangements for Ham Fest will be sent out via email.
Field Day: Field Day will be held at Rebel State Park on June 25 & 26th. We are hoping to have our ARCS Summer Picnic on Saturday as well. There will be BBQ’s set up, refrigerator available, crock pots and electrical outlets for set up. We are asking that everyone bring a dish to pass and the meat of their choice for grilling. A sign up sheet will be available soon so we have a variety of food choices to share.
A motion to close the meeting was made by Don-K5ZRQ, and seconded by Larry-KE5UVT
