July Meeting Minutes 2011
The meeting was brought to order by President Dave-N0TRQ @ 7:03pm.
Our Prayer & Pledge was led by Cecil-W5CQG.
Secretary's Report: The Secretary's report was read by Susan's-N0TRS. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Cecil-W5CQG, and seconded by Jimmy-KE5RRA.
Treasurers Report: The Treasurer's report was read by Cecil-W5CQG. We currently have $2235.96 in the account. A motion was made by Sandy-KF5LLV to accept the Treasurer's Report as read. It was seconded by Jackie-KF5LLU.
Old Business:
Field Day: Special thanks go out to Sandy-KF5LLV & the crew at Rebel State Park for hosting Field Day. Susan-N0TRS sent out a thank you card from the club. We have tentatively booked the park again for next years event. Comments and suggestions were entertained by the group for any changes or improvements. It was agreed that increased attendance is desired.
New Business:
K5MNY Website is back up and running. Dave- N0TRQ & Susan-N0TRS will be putting some of the finishing touches on it in the next few days. Upcoming Events:
Leesville Hamfest: Saturday, August 13th at the Fairgrounds in Leesville
Halloween at Rebel State Park: Rebel State Park will be hosting their annual Halloween Bash on Oct 21, 22, 28, & 29th. The ARCS will be offering our assistance on those spooky nights.
Tecnician's Manuals: The club will be ordering Technician's Study Guides to be loaned out upon request to those studying for their tests.
A motion to close the meeting was made by Cecil-W5CQG, and seconded by Sandy-KF5LLV.
