December  Meeting Minutes 2011

The meeting was brought to order by President Dave-N0TRQ @ 7:04pm on Dec 9, 2011.
Our Prayer & Pledge was led by Cecil-W5CQG.

Secretary's Report:  The Secretary's report was read by Susan-N0TRS. A motion to accept the minutes as read was made by Cecil-W5CQG, and seconded by Don-K5ZRQ.

Treasurers Report:  The Treasurer's report was read by Cecil-W5CQG. We currently have $1012.35  in the account. A motion was made by Jimmy-KE5RRA to accept the Treasurer's Report as read. It was seconded by Sandra-W5DIJ.


Old Business:

Milam Settler’s Day went very well.  Cecil purchased a tent with club funds for events such as these.  Ham Radio information was available to folks, and a there was interest peaked for several people.  Thanks go out to Cecil, Dave, Don, Sandra & Stan for helping in the booth.


New Business:

Jimmy-KE5RRA requested assistance with the Christmas Parade here in Many.  Vests & t-shirts should be worn when helping with any event.

Nominations & Electionswere held.  A motion was made by Don-K5ZRQ to have the existing board continue in their positions for 2012.  It was seconded by KennyKR9C.

Upcoming Events:

ARCS Christmas Party-  Our Christmas party will be held at Down Home Restaurant.  The date will be Jan 14th, 2012 at 7pm.  We will not have our monthly business meeting on Jan 13th.  Susan-N0TRS has sent out the party information, and is requesting RSVP’s  to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
