The Amateur Radio Club of Sabine Net meets each Tuesday at 8:00.  Our normal business meeting is held at the OEC located in Many next door to the Fire Dept. building on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.  The nets are held on the 147.280 repeater, with PL tone of 173.8.  

 

The purpose of the weekly nets are to provide a meeting place via the radio, for questions regarding Amateur Radio operations and information that needs to be passed on to those concerned.  Additionally any ARES members or stations checking in are requested to identify your station for our rolls.

 

If there is any station with emergency or priority traffic during this net, that station can break-in at any time. Are there any stations with emergency or priority traffic? If so please call Net Control at this time.

This net is open to any and all amateur operators with sufficient privileges to operate on 2 meters.  You need not be a club member to check in or pass traffic.

 

I will now open the net to any stations with or without traffic. If you have traffic please indicate the type of traffic you have.

 

This will be a directed net, so please pass all traffic through net control.  Any stations with or without traffic wishing to check-in, please call now with your callsign, first name, location, and ARES info if applicable.
